Could someone here fill me in with details about these Chautalas, their ideology, strong districts etc. Should I treat them as the Haryanvi equivalent of RLD in terms of being the political voice of Jats? What is the status and game plan of INLD moving forward? 

 

Who are the Haryanvi posters here? I can only think of @sergio04 @surajmal, @randomGuy who is based in Delhi, right? You @vayuu1?

Incorrect assessment. The BJP people who went gung ho over 370, didn't even turn up to vote. What does that say about them? And how will Hindu causes like Ram Mandir help BJP when the supporters dont vote on election day...

If anything this election has shown that people like Raj Thackeray and Owaisi are nobodies. They barely manage to get a handful of seats. Aside of nuisance value, they don't add much to the political spectrum.

Imagine if Vasudhara & BJP celebrated and claimed moral victory after the dismal RJ state elections? They got a simple defeat instead of a humiliating one. It's the exact case here with NCP, yet the media been so excited like if NCP have won the state.

 

AIMIM is a big factor in upcoming elections, right now they are just targeting Muslim majority seats where BJP have little chance. So if they work on more seats, the Muslim loyal vote bank will get divided....

Anti-incumbency after just one term, especially when the opposition is at it's weakest? The largest democratic party couldn't even cross the half way mark. Maybe voters are getting tired of hearing the nationalistic piece of crap with BJP's negligence to the local issues?

Why dont you name one state which the congress has defended. Cause looking back I can only see Mizoram in 2013....

Proper BJP outreach, now he might have got the language wrong but his intent was to respond in Tamil which is sweet. Tamil leaders should followup suite at-least speak in broken Hindi every now and then lol. This is the way to promote Right wing India first message.

Bye elections are no indicator of who is winning in assembly O/W it is very bad news for BJP in Gujarat and JDU-BJP in Bihar as they lost bye elections their.

After the maatham in May and on Aug 5, liberatti has something to rejoice.  BJP didn't win as much as predicted, but it is all because of Pawar or some kingmaker in Haryana with 10 odd MLAs
Pawar is now the poster boy for these jokers .

Nice gesture but looks very unconvincing. BJP is trying to reach Tamils with modi bringing thiruvalluvar in his speech to the nation and his meet with XI in Mahabalipuram. Thats a great thing to do bigging up ancient history to the forefront on a national and international scale opposed to british fed distorted history like congress has done in the past. They can do better with overall development rather than pushing Hindi and giving dmk and thereby congress more bragging rights. Such things like speaking in tamil is unnecessary as it looks like he is reading off a script.

 

I watched a few seconds and switched off. It looks fake on first look itself. If it looks fake and cringe worthy while watching casually, they may have the opposite effect on people. They should tone it down :laugh: If the interviewer is talking in english, the CM could respond in English/Hindi and set subtitles underneath. A strong message that BJP is focused on development and economy and showing the corruption of congress is enough.

 

The big talking point in this year's election was RG campaigning in TN promising to not force anything on the people. If BJP did the same, that is good enough. Anyways, hindi is taught in central board schools which have superceded state schools and matriculation systems. Most children these days know some hindi. Railways make announcement in Tamil, English and Hindi :noidea:

 

They changed something with the railway announcements in Chennai a few months ago which gave the opponents something to talk about. Just don't let the opposition have a talking point and you already won. Most Tamils don't care about BJP and Congress. They care about ADMK and DMK. BJP did the right thing in aligning with ADMK. The only problem arises when centre goes against the grain and pushes something against the people's will like Jallikattu

The big failure of AIADMK+ was not to create a thought process that whatever happens Modi will come so vote for the winning side. TN has mostly in its electoral history sided with the winner.  Would have picked up 9-12 seats.

if BJP grows it should be at the expense DMK , and not at the expense of ADMK ..

the way rajendra balaji is talking these days , BJP guys might end up joining ADMK :lol:
