Most people usually work for 8-10 hours a day. Outside of that they have their life. They are not machines. Much like what others do, they are pursuing a career 

 

I understand the concepts such as "opportunity" to represent the country,  etc., but at the end of the day, this is a sport. There are multiple other sports in India as well which many do not even follow or play (even though the country could be involved in it) ....  If we are all following or playing cricket more for the love for the game (than patriotism associated with it or you would be following every other sport zealously as well), let's just enjoy the game
