Gollum
Systemic discrimination (origin in creation of Pak and the constitution), hence maybe minorities prefer to keep low profile. Some like Youhana may take the easy way out by converting. Why restrict to cricket? Where are the Hindus/Sikhs/Christians in Lollywood, popular culture, business, army, bureaucracy, politics etc? Every time Pakistanis want to counter Indians in this regard they say'Rana Bhagwan Das' (who btw majored in Islamic studies). They keep repeating the same name like parrots while we can come up with a few thousand prominent Muslim achievers in India. And then Imran Khan gives India lectures about minority rights on every platform. The so called extremist Hindutva party BJP made a Muslim India's President (head of the State, Commander in Chief of Indian Armed Forces, first citizen) in 21st century, can a non-Muslim become even President's PA in Pak? Forget Hindus/Muslims......both countries have similar % of Christians, roughly 2% official. Now compare their status in the two countries. Suhaan
Even their founding fathers like Jogendra Nath Mandal faced discrimination and returned to India No wonder ,people who thought of settling there only realised it first hand and were quite late express bowling 1 Link to comment
Austin 3:!6
Pakistan is not at all welcoming for minorities. After so many years they are planning to build a temple in Islamabad tells you everything. They are not only discriminatory but also hypocritical. They will never allow a minority to play for Pakistan but if a Pakistani player gets rejected overseas (eg in Yorkshire), they cry racism. All Indian libbu snakes who cry rising intolerance in India should be send to Pakistan where they would understand what discrimination is.Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk AuxiliA and Tridibans_16 2 Link to comment

Stan AF
How many minorities even have a peaceful, non -persecuted & a decent life in Pakistan??. Rest all is merely a byproduct and very trivial in the scheme of things. Sport is one among it. express bowling, Laaloo, maniac and 2 others 5 Link to comment

wolfcricket
Saw this recently: https://www.newindianexpress.com/sport/cricket/2020/oct/07/pakistani-sikh-bowler-mahinder-pal-singh-opens-up-on-facing-discrimination-dreams-of-playing-india-2207074.html National team seems a far way away, but yeah I think this may be the only guy. Even if you read the article opportunities for him have been small. Edited October 24, 2020 by wolfcricket Link to comment
Khota
The pressure on the minorities to convert to Islam is unbearable. Yusuf Yuhanas wife used to say that the other cricketer wives would keep her out. If you consider others as infidels and less equal they cannot thrive. Pakistan as a nation has no tolerance for minorities. express bowling 1 Link to comment

Pakistan as a nation has no tolerance for minorities. It is not a Pakistani issue, is it? If India, was a at least 50% majority Muslim nation and Siasat ka taakat uske paas ho to, same situation would be there in India, or any other nation, too. Link to comment

If you think that if your religion is better than others that is exactly how you behave. Goal of a religion is to teach that we are all one and chlidren of god. None of us is superior to other. coffee_rules 1 Link to comment
