maniac Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 This guy was hyped as a KP type batsman; then when I saw him he was built like a truck. He started bowling effortlessly at 135-140K and has a booming out swinger. Got a 100 yesterday while not very destructive loads of talent. Watch out for this guy, a potential great unfolding in front of our eyes. Is a terrific fielder too tweaker 1
Lone Wolf Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Even in that ODI game.. Dude looked composed after a few dot balls & then backed himself to hit a six off Kuldeep. Our youngsters generally get too nervous first up. I see his debut in the test series already. tweaker 1
sandeep Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 He looks good, and I'm starting to dread him potentially haunting us this test series. Banjo I am really getting tired of these Curran, Jaimeson, Green allrounders screwing over Indian away test series. tweaker 1

Banjo I am really getting tired of these Curran, Jaimeson, Green allrounders screwing over Indian away test series. It’s their batting that scares me more. In Green’s case he is a proper middle order bat than can bowl 140 k’s more like Kallis. I went with Kallis over say someone like SDP,Russell because he is more of a classy bat than a destructive 6 hitter from what I have seen or heard so far. tweaker 1

Gollum Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) Pucovski Warner/Burns Labu Smith Head Green Paine/Wade(wk) Lyon Cummins Hazlewood Starc/Pattinson Scary potential. 2022 series in India could be an ATG clash especially since Che, Ashwin, Jaddu, Kohli, Rohit, Shami, Umesh, Ishant will be 34-37, last legs. putrevus Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 If was playing for India he will walk into Indian team in all formats. Great potential , best allrounder with more upside than Stokes. maniac and tweaker 1 1
Vilander Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 For fcuks sake..he bats middle order and bowls 140. Wtf man
The Realist Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Key question is will he be as good as Dan Christian and then earn easy money in IPL for doing diddly?
putrevus Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 He is built like a bull , reminds me of Kallis.
Vk1 Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 I wonder when we start developing cricketers who are that tall and strong.. setup coaching infra near rust belts of Punjab/Haryana to get some budding wrestlers look towards cricket for future? Adamant 1

We had pankaj Singh. Built like rock bowls like ganguly Mosher and Vk1 2
Stan AF Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Aussies will be foolish not to offer him a test cap and unleash him on us. New comers and indian test teams have a not so good history. tweaker 1

Huge potential in J&K & some parts of HP. I've seen tall Dudes there bowling super quick but absolute lack of cricketing infrastructure no Coaches & all. BCCI needs to invest there.

Aussies would be foolish to not pick him. tweaker 1
ShoonyaSifar Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Aussies have never had any seam bowling ATG all rounder. Unlikely Green will be allowed to become one. He could be their next batting super star

Made his debut against nz in december that year and he scored 180 in perth.

So will define my comment further - no modern era (from 1960s) ATG seam bowling AR from Aus. Their focus has been more on batsmen who could bowl seam up (Watson) or pure seam bowlers who could bat a bit (Lee, Johnson, Starc)
