I've always believed this and said this here more often..

 

Rishabh Pant should be the opener for both the ODIs/T20Is for our team. He's a damn game changer and a match winner. You are stifling him by not giving him chances. That Kid is a *ing tiger always going for the kill.

 

You need to give him more chances and don't care even if he *s up with the gloves. He can win a match with his bat itself as he's shown here.

The kind of pressure, scrutiny and abuse that this young man has seen in the last few years from media and dhoni fans and PR would have broken any one .

 

No other indian cricketer had to go through such an PR campaign against him .Kohli and Shastri along with  Prasad have played their part in mismanaging him.

I think he put so much unnecessary pressure on himself in shorter formats trying to match Dhoni.Dhoni never had this guy's batting talent.Hope this launches Pant into path of  becoming one greatest WK batsman to have played this game.He should continue to keep wickets and not give it up.That is how he adds balance to this team.
