Reminds me of the body blows the late Brian Close (in his mid 40s at that time) took from Michael Holding & Co in the 1976 summer in England. Didn't even flinch and without a helmet. They ran out of ideas and failed to grab the wickets teey desperately needed. Check out how many body blows they took in Sydney, they were already carrying injuries during that ATG partnership, Cummins hit Ashwin 4-5 times in just a couple of overs after tea but he stayed strong. Yea I disagree with that for sure. Totally different players. However Kohli is generational player. He is better without a doubt. To me Kohli is better than Smith and he will prove why in the series vs Australia in India when they tour. Even in the Adelaide test, Kohli was the only one on beast mode before getting runout. He would have ripped Aussies apart had he not gotten runout. Well Paine fluked his way to 73 but yea Kohli was on fire In the first innings.

I was watching The Test, on Amazon Prime, and on that documentary, Justin Langer said Virat Kohli is the best player he has ever seen in his life.
