I hope motera curator make a similar pitch to the last one and Ind roll eng for sub 100 scores in both innings. Ind score 500 and Ind win by an innings and 300+ runs. Lets see Vaughn's true colors as the moaning whingeing pom he is. This should be the last time he should be on cricbuzz. Its an Indian site and we don't want a whinging pom to be on it. Would rather prefer Nasser or Athers. They give better insight into the games rather than this twitterati troll #OnOn

I always get the casual racist vibe from Vaughan. After the Manchester Ariana Grande concert bombings he said Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid need to do something to stop further attacks. He also referred to Rashid as dozy.

That's really poor from him. What does dozy mean though?

He also "joked" after a WC match involving SL that the SL anthem was too long that he took a bathroom break and came back and it was still on. Normally, its considered insulting to other countries when putting national anthems and bathrooms in the same sentence. Don't know how its considered in England. I don't think an English fan will appreciate it if their anthem was made fun of in the same kind.

@YCCC Can you give any insights? Also @Tattieboy? I know you're from Scotland but care to give input whether these things are acceptable or not when it comes to England and Scotland.

As coffee_rules stated it means someone who is slow and dumb and yes Rashid does come across like that but you shouldn't say these things publicly. I highly doubt he would say that about a white player.

 

Did he ever call Flintoff an alcoholic hooligan? Because that is what he was. 

 

Would Vaughan like people to publicly mock him for that wig and spray-on hair he wears? Have some class.

 

The national anthem isn't taken anywhere near as seriously in the UK compared to America and India but still the Brits wouldn't like a similar comment made like that about their anthem.

Okay this is Scottish perspective ....I would be fielding in the gulley and a cut flew 6 yards to my right with no chance of stopping or even moving all I would here from teammates was . Hey you , you dozy git!! With them laughing ...    Meaning you were half asleep for that catch ( dozy) .in Scotland it's used in sarcasm not any derogatory way . Anthems I see you write about are sacrasent, 

Vaughan is a gob on a stick , some of it good some of it bad , but he is freelance to open his mouth nowadays . If he stays relevent and in conversations then he gets gigs on TV , radio and internet ..don't take him too seriously

Tbh national anthems aren’t really something people care about here. They’re a bit of patriotism before a sports match but that’s about it. I don’t think there would be a massive reaction if anyone made a joke about them tbh, except from ultra nationalists, the type who worship the old empire and the commonwealth and hate Europe!

 

Having said that I think Vaughan is a tit as do most English fans. Shame as he was never like this as a player. His media presence has gone to his head
