Cometh the moment (knockout), Cometh SDP (Hardik)

Whether for India or the Wolves :mi: , SDP steps its up ... a few notes:

  • 2016 must win game v BD in T20 WC, bowled the memorable over
  • 2017 CT Final - blasted 80 off
  • 2019 WC SF - came in at like 5/3 to steer the ship
  • MoM in the 2nd T20 v Aus a few months back to give Ind a series win (MoS as well)
  • Numerous game changing performances in IPL
  • Match winning performances in tests as well
  • and so on

You can be sure, through some combination (if not all) - batting, bowling, fielding, and unofficial captaincy/insights, SDP will perform ... Cometh the knockout, Cometh SDP :cheer:

To all fans

no issues with the love shown for SDP, I too believe in love over violence. However can you stop reminding us of those 2 games just because Pandya scored some rare  runs. It’s painful.

I thought you were born 420 years ago so would have experienced 1987 SF, 1996 SF, 2000 CT F, 2003 F, 2007 early exit, and 2015 SF ... appears as if your soft heart cannot take more top order failures. I perceived you to be tougher (and also charitable but you used the word rare when even today SDP gave just 16 runs in 4 overs, which is like bowling 2-3 maidens in a high scoring game, to keep Ind alive in the series)

The last ODI was not a knock out per se but still a pressure game in the context of the series ... the man rose up to the challenge both with the bat and the ball

Hotstar has some pressure index, which measures performances under pressure, where SDP is currently ranked at #2 in the world

I didn’t see if they mentioned it … SDP was 2nd with 82 points … Maybe it is Buttler (or Stokes esp. for ODIs) :hmmm:

That’s his role. Glad he’s accepted it, needs to bowl and bat.  Can’t make him bat in top 3 because he can swing his balla
