Except THIS was the right moment. In 2007 we went with the right captain who got appointed just before the WC and won. I dont know why they are sacrificing another WC to this dud captain

ODI i doubt , coz that ll need guts. Excuses will be given that new captain will not have much time to build the side n all. Basically they wont have guts to do it. I hve no hopes from ganguly, 

 

Hopefully Rohit wins this IPL also so it becomes very difficult for Kohli to have any breathing space

If anything, this gives reason for optimism for not just CWC'23 or T20WC'22, but maybe a relaxed Virat might turn in some good batting performances in the upcoming T20 WC as well. Here's hoping.

As i said such reports were in right after WTC and way before the last test was abandoned. They are just repeating that, nothing new

it could be that the penny has finally dropped for kohli himself if he genuinely feels he needs to focus more on his batting. Maybe we misjudged him if that is the case. If he knows he is going to step away at the end of it then we can expect a good tournament imo.

Also Sharma is definitely a better loi captain, Kohli is very mediocre.

I seriously dislike Kohli for his incompetency of not winning any ICC trophies. But the hate prevail for him is unparalleled to none.  I wonder how Vedic civilization survived for thousands of years with this type of mentality in our genes.  It is good that he is taking a call to focus on batting and test cricket rather then focusing on LOIs. He is not a captain material in LOI and we have better option then him. It is very mature decision from Kohli to support his test skill and leave the load to other capitain.
