his only contribution is improving batting of tail in Tests which gave us Lords win. Other than that nothing.

If anybody ever saw him batting in Test cricket, he would be the last person to be appointed as a batting coach. Total disaster as a batsman and an even bigger disaster as a coach.

  salute to OP...  Man Indian team loses feel like comedy these days.  I feel nothing   too many ICC KO exits have made me so easy to bear these defeats. 

 

I hope Chahal Boobie Ashwin get tonked by Hetty Pooran Pollard & Brandon King as well.  Let us hit the rock bottom

Dravid as a player was the one who initiated the thought process of getting John Wrigt as the national coach (having played under him at Kent).

 

He needs to start thinking of getting a few competent foreign coaches in our set up. Someone like Hussey/ Amla/Kallis could be excellent for our young batsmen pushing them to do better. Likewise Donald/ Pollock/ Lee for the bowling coach and Jonty/ Kaif for the fielding coach role. There is enough money on offer (~$700k) for these roles and we should not hire mediocre coaches. For all the money being paid, we have had one world class coach in Bharat Arun in our setup in the last 7-8 years. Bangar, Rathour, Sridhar, now Mhambrey, Dileep have all been yesmen at best without much to show for. Even at junior level Kanitkar, Bahutule as bowling coach and Munish Bali as fielding coach are there without much credentials. No harm in hiring international coaches, even if for short contracts.

There are a lot of posts blaming Dravid and atleast 3 threads wherein he has been heavily criticized.  His job hasnt been made easier with a lot of backroom shenanigans & captaincy changes.( he has had to handle 5 different captains - Rahane/Kohli/Rohit/KLR/Shikar)

When I first saw the title, I thought Chakra instead of Chakram, and thought that Rathore has/had won the Param Vir Chakra. the mind boggles at such a thought...
