You can keep on going round and round. But the fact is you did not create a world class bowler since Akram, Akhtar, Waqar retired . Asif could have been that but we never know as he did not play enough. During that tenure Indian bowling have outperformed your bowlers by and large when different conditions are considered.

 

And I don't think bottle cap made Akram, Akhtar, Waqar great bowlers, they had the talent by default. But to come here and claim Aquib Javed is better than any Indian bowler is sheer arrogance or even worse plain ignorance of the game.

Is it is just me or was he really taking guard a bit more outside leg-stump today? Seems to me his initial shuffle covered about middle stump today whereas other days he almost stands on off-stump after initial shuffle.

His batting approach was different today. He was playing a lot of balls on the backfoot that too against spinners. Very unusual. But old habits die hard. Eventually succumbed to lunging. He looks a lot more secure when he exclusively plays on the backfoot. This is such a simple adjustment. Why didn't he think of that.

India have the goat Asian attack of all time. 2015-2021 Indian attack is better than any Asian attack of any era. Now you can go ahead and csatsrtae yourself. That's the truth. One glimmer of hope you could cling on too is gone permanently.

Wasim bhai is a true great. No doubt. But even he struggled post diabetics. He averages 29 vs sewai.

Srinath alone sits on wacqar and shaoib. Srinath played with literally no support. Put him next to wasim and he would average under 25 easily. 

 

It's a team Guys. I know porks aren't the brightest tools in the shed just like many sycophant Indians, but, in saying that, you have to understand how important it is to have good support bowlers in order to excel.

 

Bowling works in pairs and your first change bowler makes a huge difference to the averages of premium bowlers too. If the first change bowler doesn't release the pressure created by the main strike bowlers then strike bowlers will benefit from being fresher and fully charged up to perform at optimal levels. Won't be forced to bring them back and fatigue the man bowlers in the process.
