One or two guys make propaganda that it could be vaccine related sharing Warne's vaccine encouragement video.

what is it about. If you watched the Euro cup last year, one of the Danish players suffered a heart attack while playing and play was stopped to whisk him away to the emergency. There is something strange about these heart attacks

I have known cases dying while jogging even before COVID.  Couple of Indians died like that.

Proof or it didn't happen. Nowadays people have habit of taking things out of context. Post link if any to complete video then we can judge. The latest trend in india is Cyber Judging.

N.B: you may or may not be correct. That's not the point. 6 posters already cursed Gavaskar just based on your post without watching the news segment or verifying. I am guilty of doing the same too on numerous occasions. :((

Extremely disappointed with Old fog Gavaskar, but goes on some vague details about how Zaheer Khan gave a freebie to give Warne his lone 5Fer in India. Forget about calling SW greatest, he is defending javelin throwers and chuckers.

He needs to be sent to the retirement home. Also, SKW got the 5fer in Chennai not Nagpur and Zaheer was not out in that innings.

Interestingly Shane Warne's first ball in test cricket was to our Sanju-Manju... hmm

Sanju Manju was quite a good player of spin, especially at that point in time. Although I do not like him as a commentator at all, and even though he was limited as a batter, I have to say that he did very well for a couple of years in int'l cricket. for example, he scored bucketloads of runs against a strong Pak attack in their home conditions (with home umpires and bottle caps).

For one who makes his living through public speaking, Gavaskar is clueless in choice of words and sense of occasion. The interviewers are also idiots asking "who is the greatest?" type of questions but he should know better than to do his "critical" analysis right after someone's shock death. Can't he just say diplomatically that such debates are subjective and it's not the time to ask such questions? Jerk can't resist taking potshots even against a departed fellow cricketer. Just kick him out from the comm box, he doesn't bring anything special to the table that makes putting up with him worth it.

he is rather insecure for someone who was one of the ATG batters. needs to learn to be gracious. he is okay when sticking to just discussing test batting (and only in tests). his anecdotes are not that amusing. but, one good thing is that he is someone the player (if from S. Asia) would want to have in one's camp if being unfairly accused of something.

In his cricketing days he was insulted by the MCC gatekeeper who didn't recognise him and refused him entry. Plus there was the usual racism against Indians which he passionately fought against. But this is a changed world we live in and Gavaskar should stop being the angry young man - at-least on sensitive occasions like the immediate aftermath of someone's passing. Disregarding this incident totally, at 72, Gavaskar is too old to be a commentator. He has been in the comm box twice as long as his international career span! Let some new faces come in, enough with the old!
