The ball was stopping for spinners but Chahal is a complete one trick pony who relies heavily on the turn from the track only.

Shadab, Nawaz, Bishnoi all bowled well but Chahal was exposed here.

Yes that catch costed the game. I am not defending this. 

 

But how do we punish him for that catch? Dropping him is not an answer because next time if he gets a catch like that, he will take it and I don't think he is a bad fielder also. Just one of those days.

 

You gotta evaluate his place in team based on his bowling merit and not one dropped catch. Ofcourse, he will get some hate in social media but what it looks to me, he is not someone whose confidence will be down after that.

More rubbish being spewed on this forum, it was a **** performance overall and not just this one error that cost us the match.

 

How many runs did we make in the 18th, 19th overs compared to what we gave? How many miss fields,  poor bowling performances and batting failures??

He has a habit of dropping catches frequently.   I recall he dropped catches against Windies too last month.   He may not cost india much with his bowling but will cost us with his fielding 9 out of 10 times.
