At a minimum Pant, Kela, Bhuvi need their spots re-assesed. Still need a wicket taking quickie, death bowling should be better with Booms

When Bumrah returns, then it will solve the problem of Bhuvi having to bowl the death overs.

And when Sir Jaddu returns, then it will solve the problem of Hoda/Axar.

India are picking some players in XI who should not be even in 15 member squad...Bhuvi,Chahal,Pant,Hooda are these names...Pant for all his X-factor debate, hasn't done anything after 50+ matches....57 T20 internationals isn't joke..Bhuvi is atrocious..Chahal again should be dropped like last wt20..Hooda doens't belong to category of Indian batsmanship..An out and out hack...Should not be picked..

Absence of Bumrah hurt India much more than the absence of Afridi for Pakistan, while Pakistan has other fast bowlers who are close to Afridi in performance.

It is indeed a timely wake up call for Indian team to rise up to the occasion and ensure that they crash out in the group stage of the upcoming t20 WC.   Keep the consistency going.

Conclusion, same as above, we are not good in hit and giggle cricket.

I'd go with a fresh team, full of youngsters for the WC, give them the exposure/space to build up over the coming years.  Went out 1st round in last WC, can't fare any worse!

Another positive might be that Dravid will come into his own if playing a young team.

LOL...India has absolutely zero chance with this bowling lineup. 

 

Look at who we have, 

Bhuvi - a trundler who wont get any swing on Aussie wickets, will be smashed all over the park because he lost control over line and length as well. He is not even good enough to play in Afghanistan team, let alone India.

Yuzi Chahal -  a mediocre spinner who will be thrashed to all parts of the ground.

Pandya - a part time bowler

Harshal Patel - another trundler 

Avesh Khan - mediocre bowler who doesnt have control or pace

Maybe just one good bowler in Bumrah who goes missing in crunch games. 

 

Better just completely disband this team after this year's World T20 first round exit and start from scratch with a new team and have a new coach and captain as well for this format.
