All members fell out of favor, he goes disappointed

Quite clearly, Ganguly was the one to have lost a lot on the day, having been left in the cold by the BCCI members. Most members of the outgoing administration have found places in the new dispensation, barring of course, Ganguly besides Jayesh George, the joint secretary and sources say Ganguly did not try to hide his displeasure. He was to himself at the BCCI office largely, while others were involved in the nomination process.

He did not propose the name of Roger Binny, the incoming president, as is the normal practice. "He clearly looked upset, disappointed and dejected," said a member who was present at the BCCI office. Ganguly was the last one to leave the BCCI office after the nomination process ended, swiftly getting into his car and rolling up the glasses of the window.”

looks like he has pissed off someone badly

Maybe he didn't toe their line and they deemed Roger Binny to be easily controllable.

Stopped the slow torture of Indian batting called Dhoni and made him retire. Something that should have happened after 2017.

Removing Kohli from captaincy was a good move too. We were going nowhere with him at the top.

Yup. Removed 2 parasites !!!. If this team ends up winning the wc he should be credited as well.

He never deserved the post to begin with, he never had skill nor expertise to manage BCCI.

What skills do BCCI Presidents have? All they do is do politics with members and win elections. What did Sharad Pawar have? Honest qs. I don’t know what is the job function ‘s responsibilities.

as a former player, least he could have done is made improvements for players, especially at FC level.  Including men and women.  Big fat zero on this front.

Disappointing tenure, no real achievements to point to.

What is his motivation to be administrator? He could be a coach or talent scout or even a commie

I think because of his health issues he is trying to have a good desk job rather than having the stress of constant travel involved with those roles.

Not wanting to do any work

Not wanting to be questioned by the press

Just wanting to do some chai biscuit politics.
