anyone knows whether Indian team players get paid if they are injured and not available? In IPL , if a player is unavailable for a match he gets a pro-rated fees based on his availability for selection.

Reason I am asking is because India players get a hefty match fee if they are in the touring squad

They get paid what is there in their central contract, even if they don't make themselves available for a single match.

Match fees is additional to the contract fees so that isn't paid if you are not available.

But these guys earn so much from IPL and endorsements that they hardly care for match fees.

Why not make Pant a full time test captain. He is a sure starter and will help him in other formats also.

Get rid of Rahul and even Rohit from Test cricket. Rahul is useless and Rohit is always injured for any big series.

better to focus on WC as a player and give back kaptaani to kohli.

You want kohli as captain in LOI? why not sanju , he can do better than Mr Kohli in white ball cricket.

Kohli in test as captain is a good idea by the way.
