We don't need to sledge Sri Lankans, our body language is enough, says Hardik Pandya

While Pandya avoided terms like "settling scores," he did reveal that India would look to "intimidate" the Lankans with their brand of "fearless cricket".

"We're going to be clear. We don't need to go and sledge them. Our body language is enough for them to feel a little intimidated," Pandya said.

Everyone in Indian Cricket seems to be living in the lala land, even after getting beaten in Asia Cup, T20 WC and then against Bangladesh, these guys have learned nothing.

How come these shameless motormouths keep passing statement. First win something of worth,SL thrashed us in 2017 ct and 2021 Asia Cup with their no name players and still see the cockiness of this guy. This is the problem with this chapri, with the limited ability he has and who hardly play entire series as an AR will keep passing day in day out nonsense stuff.

Indian Cricket has become a joke these days, no one takes any accountability. All they want is to play IPL, make tik tok reels and enjoy their lavish lifestyle.

Power can corrupt the mind.

I mean, its a meaningless bilateral series that nobody will remember in a few weeks.

Why is everybody over-reacting to some basic fluff said at a presser.

I mean, what would you have rather have him say - 'oh we are horrible, we suck, let me bring the thorned whip from RRR and beat myself and the rest of my team with it"?

Sir Don actually answered a question where he was asked if Ind was seeking to take revenge on SL for the loss in Asia Cup.

To which he responded that No, however, playing India in India is intimidating. The team does not need to sledge, their approach, body language, etc., can convey that message.

PS Ind defended the lowest total at Wankhede by remaining "bindas"!

yes, it would be nice for someone to say that - it would be interesting at least.

interesting yes, nice not so sure.

it would be a change - perhaps indeed not a nice one - from the generic soundbites.
