deepdynamo
Fine achievement reaching second straight WTC Final. Remember its 2 years of slogging cumulination into a FINAL. Tough to maintain consistency over a long period of time. It would be so good to win the damn thing this time. I wouldn't even mind the shared crown considering we have grandpa army competing and without two of our gun test player in Pant and Bumrah. Prediction : Sticking my neck out to say Unadkat can be surprise factor if given opportunity. Edited March 13 by deepdynamo BacktoCricaddict and sandeep 1 1 Link to comment
nevada
I am just glad the sneaky Kiwis aren't going to be part of the final. I hope we see a good contest between bat and ball. May the best team win! BacktoCricaddict and nitinbwj 1 1 Link to comment
Adamant
All thanks to the GOAT ASIAN TEST CAPTAIN, VIRAT KOHLI. He was the one who captained us in the tough away series. Captained 4 matches vs England in Eng, led by 2-1. Then captained 2 matches in SA, lost one and won one. And finally making 186 runs in the decider. What a champ, even in his slump he has assured that team India qualifies for WTC finals. All Hail! cricketfan28 1 Link to comment

Serpico
Kand Williamson is our best Knockout player. If only he could play for us in finals too nevada and Frustrated 2 Link to comment
Moochad
Its a good accomplishment. We need to choose our WTC XI carefully to win. Link to comment
Gollum
Should have been Ind vs Aus last time as well. Kiwis smartly avoided the Bangla tour, even a single drawn test there would have meant Aussies at #2. And going by their track record against Toygers, and in Toygerland, they would have done well to avoid a series defeat IMHO. Stan AF and Sean Bradley 2 Link to comment
Gollum
Think Eng will be one of the finalists in the next cycle. And final venue will be England lmao, just how much more blatant can ICC get? Edited March 13 by Gollum Link to comment

Bumrah has been no show in big spots. If he had come to party then things would have been different then. Pant will be a big miss, he plays for half a session India will be in good position. deepdynamo
A fully fit Bumrah is an assset....has won tests singlehandly in Aus ,Eng and SA.... Last WTC Final was a farce...a half fit under cooked bumrah coming straight from injury was preferred over Siraj and we all saw what he did... Adamant and raki05 1 1 Link to comment
putrevus
June will be always a lottery in England. Batsmen were not great but they did provide some total to fight especially in first innings. If only Bumrah could be that spearhead things would have been different then. A full fit Bumrah has never risen to occasion in any big spots. Frustrated 1 Link to comment
Laaloo
Rightfully so. Teams like South Africa sri Lanka don't deserve to go when they play at least 5 less tests than teams like India and Australia. raki05, putrevus and BacktoCricaddict 2 1 Link to comment
coffee_rules
I don’t know how India made it, but beating SA, Eng, Aus and NZ at home and not losing in Eng is always special, no matter of any RRR (Random R*ndy Rona) about pitches. We have won 4 straight series against Aus home or away. 2015 is the last time Aus won a series against India. Take that, Strayans! Link to comment

India is far more consistent compared to other teams. Link to comment
Zero_Unit
is it going to be a one-off match like last time or 3-5 matches to decide the winner? 3-5 matches make more sense honestly, especially for tests. Link to comment

Current unit will get whitewashed. Ability, fitness, formwise Australia is much superior now. Nowadays we have players out with injuries, players play with injuries, players who are about to get injured. We can atleast use the excuse "This is a one-off match". Too many oldies who can't run, field well. Link to comment

You are correct, to get the true champion side. It should be a three test series. It should be added as a part of home series for team winning most points during the two year cycle. England having monopoly on hosting it is ridiculous. Zero_Unit 1 Link to comment

Let alone in Oz, we also need to make Kuldeep a staple of this lineup, * the whoring FTB's at the top - get batters who can actually make runs everywhere & play good bowlers Link to comment
