Dhoni was ATG in odis and he was very good in test cricket at home along with being a decent keeper in all formats. Pandya on other hand gets publicity as if he is world best allrounder.On the field he never was great at any point in his career. He was at best average in whiteball cricket.And some morons (including some idiotic selectors) want him to be whiteball captain. But he has evolved into a bits and pieces player. This has happened because he has forgotten his strength .... which is high SR batting in the lower middle order. This role is as vital as top order batting. He lacks the technique to be a consistent top order batter ... but wants to be one. And lacks the fitness to be a frontline pacer.
