It is not fault of Sai, Jurel or Sundar that they are being asked to bat at important positions.Some of them  like Sai don't belong in international cricket.

In the recent past people before Agarkar too didn't make good selections. Team was too good to lose then.

AA & GG are pathetic but there is widespread malice against ranji players especially batsmen. This needs to change.

SA coach is bang on right and seems like a visionary. You do need to plummet teams when they are in downward spiral.. the amount of psychological fears and phobia it creates lasts for generations together. Todays young audience is tomorrow's players so when you want to beat a team and have a chance to grovel them.. do it 10x harder. If you have any doubts look at Australia

So true Before NZ series, you had Ashwin and Jadeja as main weapons.Guys like Umesh Yadav and Shami who were very good with reverse swing. Like you said they were too good so they could cover lot of cracks.

 

But looking back, I feel Gambhir's very presence was one of main reasons for NZ series loss.

 

Rohit was lazy captain but he commanded respect from all players and they played for him.I feel like this idiot made Rohit uncomfortable there by totally screwing up the mojo of the team.If Dravid or Shastri were coaches India was not losing that series or this series.
