gakgupta Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 One of the finest Test batmsne in the world now.... Only Joe Root and Steven smith are ahead of him ( in terms of quality) tweaker and G_B_ 2
Ankit_sharma03 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Easily our best batsman right now, how i wish he could bat up at 3. tweaker 1
-Robin- Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Congrats to Rahane He is definitely best batsman in Indian test team.
express bowling Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 I really appreciate the fact that Rahane can score a century in an innings when he is having difficulty judging the bounce of the ball and is having a couple of off-days. That shows the mentality to fight on and grit. Mosher, philcric, Texan and 1 other 4
PBN Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Another legend in the making. Avg 50+ as well. Rahane was one of the most talked about while playing Ranji. Great to see him translating that success at the int'l stage as well. express bowling 1
Texan Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Awesome achievement. Trumped all kinds of odds to get here. He is truly our all country player having got runs everywhere we have toured. His calm demeanour hides the gutsy resolve within. Take a bow! express bowling 1

Texy Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 He's a good test player but I still get that selfish personal milestone vibe from him. May be I'm wrong but at times he slows down immensely.

Lannister Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 The way he was struggling and yet, to come out on top shows the class of the player. He should've been groomed as an ODI opener a long time ago. Now that our ODI captain is getting humiliated a series after series, he has no choice but to support players like him instead of mediocre hacks. tweaker, Bigg Brother, sandeep and 2 others 5

Laaloo Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Another gem from Mumbai. Now only if Rohit Sharma continues that traditions.
G_B_ Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 now averaging 50 plus in test cricket. I believe Smith and Root average more than him of current players who have played more than 20 tests and are under 30 years of age. But I have major doubts on Smith in spinning conditions. On the whole IMO second only to Joe Root. Joe is another batter who will come good in all conditions or has the technique. sandeep 1

He's done well, not great but good, in Ind and SL in last tours to these countries.
