They deserve every bit of it. Up until 2015 WC they were all right bcoz they were minnows, so much so that they couldn't win a single game in 2014. Stuart Binny stripped their hopeless team at home, such was their condition. We as cricket fans all wanted Bang bros to do well and they certainly did in 2015 WC. But what transpired post that was shameful stuff by their fans, media, board and cricketers.

 

During our WC campaign, we created Mauka Mauka ad for Pakistan and other teams. But there was no Mauka ad ever made for Bangladesh game bcoz we met them at quarter final and when the shootings were done it was not sure who we will meet at quarter's. But till today (believe it or not) they cry that their team was mocked by India with Mouka Mouka taunt and created multiple versions themselves to mock Indians by bringing 2007 WC, 2012 Asia cup etc etc. Even Pakistanis have forgotten but these jokers still burning due to that ad.

 

Their players and then ICC chairman Kamal cried about that No ball. Most of them believed that BD would have won that game had it not for that no ball. Rohit Sharma added only 37 runs post that incident and Bangla lost by 105 runs.

 

We toured BD after the world cup. Star Sports prepared an ad " Bacha ab Bacha nehi Raha" meaning BD improving. They reciprocated with an ad "We will insert BAMBOO"

 

When we lost that series 2-1 (our first series loss against BD in history), instead of being gracious winners they choose to become sore losers. Their media tabloid Prothom Alo drawn a cartoon of our players with head shaved bald.

 

Their fans cried about the age of our cricketers during U19 WC in 2016.

 

Their fans hackled Sudhir during Asia cup and forced that Pakistani chacha to wave Bangla flag. So much for hospitality...lol.

 

Drawn MS Dhoni's ISIS style chopped head image with Taskin holding it before Asia cup final. Dhoni responded it with a 104m six.

 

Taskin got subsequently banned for illegal action and they claimed India's hand in it.

 

Mushfiq couldn't score 2 runs in 3 balls and when we lost the semi final against WI in T20 WC, he tweeted "Ha Ha...Happiness is this. India Lost" and then shamelessly deleted it fearing backlash. And dude is the test captain.

 

If teams like Pak, Aust etc mock our teams we can understand. Good history, almost equal achievements etc.

 

BD has ZERO achievement in cricket but they somehow try to fit into big boys boots.

 

Trust me, they deserve every bit of hatred they receive from Indian fans.

Never understood the bizarre obsession that Toygers had with the mauka ads when none of the ads were referenced Bangladesh.

 

A massive chunk of Bong fans are really obsessed with India and see everything as an "evil conspiracy".  Its hilarious for a bit, but then just boring and obnoxious.  I think poor Austin is scarred from over exposure to this stuff...

We (me with few other Indian fans) had great time in their forum during Asia cup winding them up. Still remember the match thread for Asia cup final went for 35 pages even before the game started with constant potshots from both sides

Bangla fans are the worst sporting fans on the face of the planet. But it is undeniable that their cricket team has improved a great deal in the past few years. Expect them to be a top 5 team in odis and may be go deep in one of the upcoming icc events.

But in the real deal aka test cricket they will be stuck at no 4 in asia for a long long time.

Also you are deluded if you think Bangla and India are equal in sports. Yes we are no China/Britain/USA when it comes to olympics but atleast we compete and have won many medals. Bangladeshis dnt even qualify...I am not sure if Olympic council knows there is a country called BD exists

Bangladesh is still a one innings side. That is how they started. Made 400 in the first innings and lost their way badly in the 2nd innings. They still continue that trend even after 18 years.

They need to come out of that minnow mentality. Sometimes it gets embarrassing to even play against them. Respect is not something you demand, you need to earn it. For now take away their Test status and let them play against associates some more.
