Regardless of the ability, hatsoff to nehraji who is still fit and available for selection at that age despite being a fast bowler and having played for almost 2 decades and having undergone 12 major surgeries.

Pathetic selection, dhoni, pandey nehra, karthic really???? Selectors are either incompetent or has no confidence on the youngsters or just lazy, all above 4 should have been kicked out of the squad especially dhoni who has been a mediocre t20 player and a proven failure

Three really poor picks in MS, Nehra-ji and DK. Do we have a mandatory senior citizen quota in our squads? Even Dhawan doesn't really warrant a place in the T20 squad. Not sure what more Pant has to do to get a chance in T20s.

Selector don't want to put pressure on the settled lineup hence they are selecting Karthik,Nehra in the squad.

 

They should have selected Iyer, Chaudhary in the squad

IYER would have been good... More KlPD for pant hype brigade. Knew virat wouldn't back hit or miss hacks. 

 

Not sure why people are surprised with pant exclusion. He made a mess last t20 and it was clearly visible on virat's face he was not happy that.  He wasn't able to bat to ball on that patta. Kartick did well so it's obvious selection. Nehra one is very surprising.

Problem is Kohli. If you want genuine change Kohli should not be part of selection process. He has already mucked up the CT and there were no repercussions.

We did it kothe.. We got our GOd Karthik selected again. now bow down to Dhoni and Kohli for superb selection.

    If 1 match is the judging criteria , then VK should  not have been further chance when he looked hopeless  in his first match in       Srilanka. Why was he groomed for nearly year ?

Because Dhoni was captain then.. We had limited options those days but now we have more choices they don't have time to groom anyone. There is still KL rahul waiting on the bench why bother waste time on maxwell/Afridi type player? He ll never be good enough to play Tests anyway. Worth while investing in KL than this guy. Kohli doesn't back him so it doesn't matter.

Player for 3 formats.. We are talking about a player that would benefit us in 3 formats. KL is still sitting on bench even for t20s so it's relevant. 

 

Some harsh reality for next T20 Wc

1.Rohit (he will defo play for 5 more yrs) 

2.Dhawan (questionable but more likely) 

3.Kohli (100% in) 

4.Dhoni ( will play 2019 WC might end up dragging one more yr and call it quits after 2020 who knows) big????? 

5.Pandya (only allrounder we have)
