Austin 3:!6 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Cant play if the ball moves an inch and looks like a tailender. I am aware of his heroics in flat decks of India and also aware that he just scored a double ton, but there is no denying he is an ultimate FTB. Remember Sehwag was dropped the next series after he scored the double ton vs Windies. With openers like Shaw, Rahul, Kalra in the pipeline, how long really is the rope for Sharma? tweaker and velu 1 1
beetle Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 He can't be dropped because of the sajdeh connection. Otherwise he would only be playing odis at home. velu 1

I took you about 5% seriously right until I read Kalra. Grow up.

Do you realize the massive gulf that exists in quality between u19 and international cricket? Veda Krishnamurthy just hit a power packed 50 against SA "ffs", surely she can be considered to replace Jadhav. Cricketics 1
Khota Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Rohit should be asked to skip one game. Should comeback at game 5. talk of dropping him is very prematue as he is still a solid batsman. velu 1

kira Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 The OP still hasn't learned from the saha thread. The rope of every cricketer in the history of cricket is shorter than the rope given to ms dhoni who has been sucking since 2013 but still manages to find his name in the playing XI Rasgulla, Khota, maniac and 2 others 3 2
Cricketics Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 He has looked good in the first two games actually. Just not gotten big runs. Today he just did not even get start like he does usually. It happens, we can’t just drop him based of this series. He and Dhawan have scored in ICC tournaments and perhaps will do well again in world cup next year. Unstable Joe, maniac, philcric and 1 other 4

This!!! our top 3+ bowling has been winning us matches 9/ 10 times...least of our problems....our middle order is the biggest problem we have Unstable Joe 1

Gollum Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Bilaterals are meaningless, Hitman is someone who can do well in 2019 WC judging by his previous history in ICC tournaments, look at everything from the WC angle. Pitches will be prepared by ICC curators and just like 2015 they will be flat, it will be suicide if we drop Rohit now. The only person who needs to be dropped kicked thrown into Indian Ocean is Cool, in his peak he was poor in big tourneys, in 2019 he will be even more useless. I am willing to give Jadhav some more time, he looks unconvincing but may be needs a few more matches before we can take a call on him. I can understand now that Dhoni has failed again a certain lobby will try to divert attention by opening such kind of threads, but most of us aren't fools, we see through the deceptive tactics of Chuskis. Gollum Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Top 3 isn't a concern, checked out our middle order? I am unable to recall a more lackluster 4-7 batting unit in all my years of watching cricket.
vvvslaxman Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 He is already counting the days for his next venture against srilanka Cricketics and Jimmy Cliff 2

Only if we are playing against Bangladesh. I don't expect Rohit to cross 50 against a decent side in the knockouts.
