I think whole media should just focus on that and leave Bancroft for now. We could be in for few big field days with lot of Aussie  inner blame game happening between themselves.

Absolutely, they had no choice. The whole team management was involved. Still Lehman got a pass. Trying to minimize damage.

This incident has left me thinking two things 

 

1) There are teams out there who know how to beat the cameras and get on with their cheating.  Nothing is going to deter them.

 

2) What was happening when there were no cameras (hint: Imran Khan)

This should start, with Bancroft banned right in this game.  Period.  He should not be allowed to bat a 2nd time.

I cannot comprehend a bowler who runs onto the pitch twice cannot bowl anymore, but a criminal like Bancroft gets away with this.

Back when there were fewer and lower resolution cameras, we know that ball tampering was rampant. I am sure it happens still to some extent, but to shamelessly use a bright shining external object today is stunningly stupid
