Other teams are giving chances to young players atleast in T20s and here we are still going for old players. What has Raina done to merit a place in T20 squad? Shardul Thakur's selection seems to be a forced one too. These selectors will never learn. Mosher, beetle, Switchblade and 2 others 4 1
Straight Drive Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Kaul and Umesh Yadav deserved the place on basis of his performance. Pandey seems to be selection quota. Still in T20i squad. Raina in T2o is not a progress, neither is it deserved. Pant, Shreyas, Prithvi have all batted much better than him in IPL. beetle 1

Useless recycled selections year on year with no thought to building a team or trying out younger in-form players. Rayudu deserved a comeback Not so good things: T20 side still looks horrendous. Manish still in squad No young blood - Pant, Samson, Rana, Krunal, Shaw, Kishan, Mavi Test squad is decent. Would have liked to see some more experiments - Dk and Vijay Shankar instead of Saha and HaPa Mosher and The Dark Horse 2

Rayudu ahead of Pandey is such a relief given their recent forms.. Raina is always questionable.. He has the energy and enthusiasm, but he is done... T20 side should have young blood... Dhoni, Raina et al are bad selections
