The best allrounder we have. More consistant as a batsman than some other specialist batsmen. Best spinner we have who should be able to be in the 11 in most places. UrmiSinhaRay 1

The simple reality is aside from the pace bowlers, no batsman aside from Kohli is a guaranteed starter in this XI. Shunya Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 This is not fair, Kohli should not get a free pass as soon as difficult tours start. Once SENA tours are done, should hand over to Rahul or Shaw or any new settled guy for easy series just like how Dhoni did to Kohli. No point of bringing in a new captain to clean up the mess created. Just hope that we do settle some youngsters in the XI and let them prosper till then. All he has done so far is tinker with the line up so much that there are no permanent options left in the team. Meanwhile defo change the coaching/management and cut some powers of the kaptaan saab. Kohli backed by a competent coaching staff is still the best option for India. Also need a strong chairman of selectors who can keep Kohli's selection decisions under check.
