Why do most of Bollywood stars speak English?

Why do most of them speak English in most of the interviews? From where do they get this complex that they have to speak just in English?

You can see the difference in their English while Pakistani actors who can't speak "good English" are speaking it with a flow while Akshay looks like someone who would, at best, score 5 in an IELTS test.

They are actors in Hindi/Hindustani films, they are expected to talk in Hindi at least. The fact is they look down upon other actors who don't know English with a posh accent. Nawazuddin, Anupam Kher, Kangana have spoken about this. That is a fact that they are pretentious and superficial about knowing English. Even the Film journalists carry around this colonial hangover.

That's exactly what I was talking about. You see in Koffee with Karan, Almost all the guests and the sissy himself speak in such a posh accent which would put an average American and British to shame

Akshay Kumar is also Canadian who has spent his whole life in India.

All of them are working in Pakistani films. Same could be said about celebs like Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif etc in Bollywood but it was an answer to the person who said Pakistani actors can't speak English and btw Fahad and Hamza are Pakistanis and don't have dual nationalities like other two and even Ali Zafar speaks perfect English for someone who has never lived in US or UK.

If somebody is acting in Polish cinema, they , the audience,  expects the actor to speak in polish. Apprently, in HFI, it is about how well you know English is the benchmark. Do you even know what we are talking about?

Polish, unlike Hindi or Bengali or bunch of Indian languages, is not 'Eng-polish'. 
And it would be smart if they did - cater to a global audience. Especially for a poor nation like India, where 1 BBC interview can pay more than 10 ZeeTV interviews. Good for business. 

One of the FEW advantages India has, in this global market, is our ability to speak English. Nationalistic idiots who are trying to undermine that, are classic example of how nationalists are not real patriots. For a patriot would do whatever necessary to advance the cause of his/her people and nation. Not prop up feel-good ideologies and propagandas at the expense of his/her fellow citizens.

There is no fu cking nationalism here. The consumer of Bollywood is Hindi cow belt and the narrative is you need to know posh English to be successful. This is not a business/IT field where knowledge of English helps to promote business. Koreans/Chinese/Iranian cinema is different in this aspect. They thrive despite not being superficially proficient in English, why not expect the same for Hindi/Hindustani?
