Asia Cup win or Australia Test series win?

Australia test series win any time. Only world cup win tops that. Asia Cup is a useless tournament of a bygone era. Last 25 years only England (once) and Saffers(3 times) have won in Australia. Some teams can't even draw a test match there even if their lives depended on it.

SA and Aus test series wins are just below world cup in importance order.

World cup > SA/Aus test series win > England test series win > Any away test series win > CT ... rest

Series win in Aus, far and away, is much more important than Asia Cup. I don't think it's even a question.

They don't have a better team. It's just that they have played weaker teams and got hammered once they played a decent team. Pak players are most likely to get under pressure while playing India than Indian players.

The only interest I have in Asia Cup is to figure out who will make it to the WC squad. It’s very likely that Asia cup and WI ODI performances will decide the fate of our middle order for the WC
