Dhoni ke bas ki nahi rahi ab but even he was trying yesterday to remain proactive and Pant was trying to take the pressure of hitting runs from Kohli and in the process got out but this phony Jadeja didnt even try till he got caught at long on

Both krunal and gowtham are better than jadeja.

Kohli either don't care or has zero credentials in identifying quality potentials and this scum jadeja with the influence of shakuni mama (you know who) keeps on getting selected.

I have a feeling in absence of Pandya, Virat doesn't like the idea of 2 wristys but Jadeja is not the solution.

Jadeja is a proper  batsman who needs time to build an inns.Hence I don't think he is eligible   for that no:7 spot. At 6,7 spots we need hitters  like  Maxwell ,Afridi etc etc .  Kedar,Pandya fits that category. If Jadeja is played try him at no:4  or not play him at all.'His one day bowling too seems to be  condition dependent. Only his fielding seems to be   superb. Otherwise he should strictly stick with tests.

he is a calibre batsman , no doubt ....  In the last 34 inns he avg:s 45 with the bat.And has brilliant knocks even in SENA too.This, despite being forced to sacrifice his wkt: by wild  slogging for the sake of the team on several occasions.  So in tests  there is no doubting his credentials.

He is similar in the mould of Rahane, is only fit to play Test cricket. But selectors lack the balls to go against Dhoni's wishes. Hence you still see the likes of Sharma, Dhawan in Indian team.

Jadeja hits over the top in test cricket when the field is up. He gives a buildup like as if he is an aggressive batsman. Doesn't play test cricket like a proper batsman by setting himself up.

 

In odi cricket he doesn't play aggressive cricket because he doesn't have the game for it. He scores run a ball 20 when he is in the best form.

1. Problem is Jadeja is no world beater now. So no need for someone not in the team to be world beater to replace him.

2. The fact that Kohli thought Rahane to be a floater in ODIs for a long time and even played him in T20s shows what eye for talent Kohli has. He usually learns after a lot of failure but doesn't pick right ones straightaway.

What was shocking was that he couldn't hit a number of generous full tosses that Zampa gave him.. even in tests he takes a good amount of time before he starts  hitting..
