He sucked big time from 2008-2015 with a SR of 113 against non-minnows. Since 2016, his raw stats have been pretty good without much impact. His best work remains the 2007 WC.

then on current form , he deserves to play  :p:

Avg is inflated b/c Dhoni usually comes at the end so can get no outs to bump it up. He has 40 n.o. in 80 innings

Career averages
Span Mat Inns NO Runs HS Ave BF SR 100 50 0 4s 6s
overall 2006-2018 93 80 40 1487 56 37.17 1170 127.09 0 2 1 107

47

Yes the SR is good enough the last 4-5 seasons, but he should have not been the finisher. He would've been better in the middle. Ideally we need someone with a consistent 150+ SR as a finisher.

dhoni t20 record has improved in last 2 yrs but but but

  • still i dnt remeber any impact knock. May be jst one good knock in Sa

Misleading stats.

List match-winning, or big-impact innings of his

Some thing looks not OK in these stats . I can't remember more than 1 -2 innings if any substance since last 7-9-monrhs.

How many innings helped to win and how many we lost ?

What was the RRR when he came in and when he got out?

One reason could be most of the time made 15 ball 20 , 10 ball 20 , 30 ball 40  but impact in winning the match   just Zilch ...

I think one should really go match by match to see the impact of his innings  in the last 8-9-months. .

I love how you expect pretty much nothing from MSD except when he plays for CSK.
