Rishabh Pant - I am scared of Kohli's anger

This is not really shocking for lots of us because Kohli's combustible personality is so evident on the field itself. He must be magnitudes worse in the dressing room. No wonder RCB and lately Indian LOI team is bottom fishing. And the test team dressing room atmosphere can't be any better thanks to the angry man-child.

No wonder youngsters are afraid of expressing themselves freely, no wonder the young bats are unable to become the best versions of themselves. How is this tool still allowed full reign in all formats? Anger issues aren't something you associate with good leaders, a good captain can be firm/tough/demanding/ruthless but angry? WTF.

 

Even intense leaders like Pataudi, Border, Imran, Arjuna, Ganguly, Waugh, Ponting etc never had this trait when it came to dealing with youngsters and upcoming prospects. A good team developer needs to nurture the talents, be a father/brother/mentor figure, give them confidence, shield them if required...not make them cower in fear !!! Kohli has had all tools at his disposal yet hasn't been able to build either the national ODI/T20 teams or the RCB team. Even in test cricket, he has failed to develop the batsmen, we aren't justifying our potential in that format even though we are still best in the world.

Imran Khan was aloof and his players were scared of him but he had an eye for spotting g talent and backing it. Even Ganguly was not a calm type of personality but he also backed new talent setting aside the usual regional preferences. Kohli has no talent or patience in spotting and nurturing new talent. He destroyed even existing and established players' confidence.
