My 6 best innings ever in a world cup semi-final

1.Inzamam Ul Haq innings of 60 v New Zealand in 1992

2.Aravinda De Silva 66 v India in 1996

3.Mahela Jayewardene v New Zealand in 2007

4.Grant Elliot 84 v South Africa in 2015

5.Zaheer Abbas 93 v West Indies in 1979

6.Mohsin Khan 70 v West Indies in 1983.

1.Placed Inzy's 60 at the top as it was craftsmanship at its highest zenith taking Pakistan out of the depths of despair to reach the pinnacle of glory.

2.Aravinda displayed mastery on a broken track at Kolkata reminding one of a medical surgeon skillfully operating.

3.Jaywardene's century was grace personified expressing the sweetness of the sound of a flute and above all won the game for his country.

4.Grant Elliot displayed iron nerves in taking his team over the line with a glorious dispaly of controlled hitting.Did exactly what the doctor ordered

5.Zaheer Abbas took cricketing art to heights of the sublime taking the graetset pace atck by the sword.

6.Mohsin Khan displayed great technical skill against.the best pace attack ever when every other Pakistani batsmen failed on the fastest of tracks.

Its telling that this greenbro troll leaves off the best innings by the best batsman out of the list.

DRS BCCICC for the win bruh.

That wasn't a great innings though from a neutral viewer point of view.

aravinda de silva :hail:

batting mastery at its highest zenith taking SL out of the depths of despair to reach the pinnacle of glory.

his batting in SF was grace personified expressing the sweetness of the sound of a flute and also displayed iron nerves in taking his team over the line with a glorious dispaly of controlled hitting. de silva  took cricketing art to heights of the sublime taking the graetset spin atck by the sword.

Aloo and De Silva. Honorable mention to Symonds' 91 in the 2003 WC SF and Grant Elliot's 80-odd in the 2015 Semi vs RSA.

Yeah that Symonds knock was a great one. Aus managed only 217 and Symmo was not out with a SR of 77. Shows some seriously good bowling from Vaas and Murali.
