But, we need a leftie, and a hitter like Pant in there instead of Shankar. Hardik at 4 is a bad idea.. he is needed at slog overs..

I won't mind if Kohli gets triggered for this incident. shankar needs to go, and someone else should get 2 games before KOs. if they do even more badly, he can always be brought back. GautiMaan Posted June 28, 2019 Posted June 28, 2019 Shankar seems to have an obvious weakness,got out in the same manner in the warmup against Bangladesh.Normally you'd back the guy as he can contribute with the ball,but this is the World Cup and we need results. DK might be a more finished product who could make an impact straight away while Pant brings the X factor and a left hander to boot,you could'nt go wrong with either of these guys at 5/6. Vilander 1

If they drop Shankar,then questions will be asked on why did they select him over the hack Rayudud. On top of that regional bias also seems to be involved in team selection.
