Both Kedar Jadhav and Yuzvendra Chahal, who had an unforgettable match against England, are likely to be dropped from the playing XI as India aim for a quick turnaround. With Vijay Shankar now being ruled out of the tournament due to injury, the gates have opened for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja to make it to the playing XI.

How can Jadeja, a bowling allrounder, replace Jhadav as a batsman. We have already got an awful tail.

i think they may play jaddu for 1 game but i dont see how bhuvi gets in.

I think either DK or Mayank if he is there will play in place of Jadhav. They may play one of Bhuvi or Jadeja. I hope they pick Bhuvi. Bhuvi is a better "allrounder" than Jaddu at the moment. I also dont trust Jaddu in knockout matches. He ran out Pandya in the CT. Knockout matches will have roads and spinners will be assaulted

Pant is freaking awful.. what a rackless player he is.. We need a compact player at no. 4 and Pant MAY be good for T20 and at slog overs but not for no. 4.. and he will struggle against good death over bowler as well..

 

I f'ing hate it that a team known for a batting power house does not have a good no. 4 already... KL Rahul was a back up opener and we made him no. 4

 

I hope they play Mayank Agarwal against Lanka so that he has one match to get things going and ready for Semis..

I hold your opinion in high regard.  Why are you pushing for Jadeja?  Is it because you'd rather play 5 fulltime bowlers?  If that's the case I'd rather have India play Bhuvi instead of Kedar, and keep the 2 wristies.

Cant understand logic behind backing Jadeja..He would have done same yesterday, remember the canberra odi in 2016 or asia cup last year? If they want to, he should come in for any spinner not batsman.
