The world’s largest cricket stadium has been under construction in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad for quite some time now and is now on the verge of completion. A report in The Indian Express claims that the stadium will be ready by early next year and the BCCI is planning a grand inauguration.

The report suggests that the stadium, which can accommodate 1.10 lakh spectators, could host an exhibition match between Asia XI and World XI in March next year if the International Cricket Council agrees to BCCI’s request.

"There will be Asia XI vs World XI game but it will be subject to ICC’s approval,” BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was quoted as saying in the report.

You want 1.1 lakh capacity stadium with 20k people in attendance in its first match?

Are you sure about the attendance

Please make it (India, not Asia BS) a 5 day match, please please

If people aren't there to fill the stadium distribute tickets for free to state units of political parties, @velu maybe the Dravidian parties can help, what's the current rate in the market? 1 mutton biryani packet for 3 hours? Guj is dry state so out of question. You posted a video I remember.

Lekin asia xi men player kya loge - i doubt even one player of pak can fit in asia xi for t20.

Even from SL, afghanistan- kusaal perara, malinga, rashid , nabi max.

Bang- shakib ban hai

T20 mein Mushfiqur, Malinga, Rashid pakka. Other options might be Fizz, Nabi, Mujeeb, Angelo. Don't think Bakis will be invited to play in Gujarat.

Our T20 team is very weak, too many vacancies.

Damn that's too much, how long will they stay for that rate? Any other facilities they will provide?

Since Guj is heavily vegetarian, will veg biryani/pulao do?

If gujjus can relax rules a bit some dmk or admka vatta cheyalalar or ezhingar ani thalaivar can bring in couple of lakh people easy peasy.
