Jezz just realized that the second semi is between NZ v BD. How the heck does BD 19 consistently perform in icc wc but senior team plays like crap.

Jaiswal is good and right there as the topmost talent in this country. Hope we groom him well, he can be a serious player for our national team for years. In 4 years time our ODI batting may look like Shaw, Jaiswal, Gill, Iyer/Padikkal, KL, Pant. Each of them are standout talents with most of them already proven domestic performers.

Jaiswal is better fit for senior team in all formats than Shaw and Gill. He can bowl  some leg spin too.He can work on it and he will become an asset to senior team plus he is left hander.

They are clearly, massively over-awed by the pressure and challenge of going up against India.  They know that half the Indian team has multi-crore IPL contracts already.  There's not much to base any "drama or fake aggression" on, when you are getting your as.ss handed to you.  

 

But yes, the kids look decent, hard working, and for a change, the batsmen weren't total crap.  A couple of them looked handy, will probably end up playing for the senior team.

Yes they were blaming star sports that they are intentionally not showing bowling speeds of Pakistani bowlers against afg match coz Pakistani bowlers might be clocking over 147 and may break tyagi fastest ball record.

Combination of age, inability to play spin in opponents, and some focused investment by the BD board.  They pay more attention to u19 development than their FC cricket.  Which is actually a mistake, but anyway.

Those guys are shagging on the fact that none of the Indian fast bowlers touched 90mph :) But ok with their bowlers being trundlers :P

Ind-Pak cricket is on the road of going along the lines of Ind-Pak football or tennis.  These greenbro kids were the pick of the litter - they are going to go back licking their wounds - its not that they lost - its the manner of the loss - the effortless mauling without breaking a sweat that's going to scar.  Its going to be in their minds forever.  And if some of these greenbro juniors get the chance to play against India again at the national level, they will be going up against multi-millionaire superstars of the game, and they will know it.  They are human, it can't help but affect them.
