First time I agree with Rahul Gandhi about China taking over weak Indian companies..

This is happening all over the world.. China is taking over distressed companies lately, especially since market has been down by more than 20% .. Just recently People's Bank of China raised its stakes in HDFC..

Drastic steps are needed for sure.

The massive economic slowdown has weakened many Indian corporates making them attractive targets for takeovers. The Govt must not allow foreign interests to take control of any Indian corporate at this time of national crisis.V

Still not a fan of increasing influence of Chinese companies.. specially in this situation when we are paying high price and companies are making huge losses due to China virus

I was taken aback when i saw BYJU and OPPOs logo on Indian cricket team jersey..

Can you really stop them from taking over? I don't know.

China is resuming things apparently, they are already putting up a show with M&As in europe.

Modi just needs to say 'these are unusual circumstances, and in the interest of Indian companies, we are freezing taking over foreign take overs, specially Chinese take overs'... and the country will be behind him..

Why is the baki troll voting someone who criticises pappu? Is China  buying any baki banks?

his superstars beg for ventilators and cricket matches, kaali daal PM begs for money 24/7. But then the baki lives in land of the pure bubble and comes up with wacko imaginary theories like baki doctors are superior and Indian doctors should learn from them, and then gets upset when we troll vote the baki on such posts:phehe: end result is online jihad aka troll vote the hindoo baniya infidels from endia!

China is the next superpower. The sooner you folks accept it the better.

superpower in what, making cheap goods? china will NEVER become a cultural superpower like the white dominant countries. chinese/east asian looks, language, food and culture in general will never catch the fancy of people outside that geographical sphere. In fact east asians are looked down upon by almost everyone else, especially the west, arabs and indians. You never hear of people dreaming of immigrating to east asia rofl

+1

The western governments and systems are largely public friendly. Who would want to get himself in the closed world of CCP.

I think no one here has been to Xinjiang. Last year when I travelled there; our belts, shoes, socks etc. were taken off at every single airport check. We were taken to an x-ray type security check as well.

Urumqi was bad and Kashgar was horrible. Other provinces were fine though.

Adding an in-flight picture, way back from Urumqi to Lahore via China Southern.

Chinese communist government is very sinister. In fact China and a Russia are two peas in a pod. Although it is a conspiracy theory right now, but it is not out of the realm of possibility that they did this on purpose. There was a novel written by two Chinese generals about world domination through germ warfare.

China knows that it cannot beat US and be the world’s superpower using military means. US has the world’s strongest military. However,  by wrecking the US economy, it can gain a distinct advantage. That is how this has turned out. Medical care in the US is top notch, but it lacks a good public health system to deal with pandemics like this. Right now, US is down on its knees gasping for air. Public health system is stretched thin, people are scared, paranoid, and dying. Economy is shut down and probably will go into a depression. There is no way China could have achieved this using military means.

Now China is back up, selling medical goods to US and rest of the world to deal with a problem they started in the first place. Buying up companies and shyt. This is why they are bristling with anger when the blame is put on them. Yes, they lost a lot of lives too, but for the godless communist government those lives lost are worth the price of bringing US to its knees.

Will the US and rest of the world and hold China accountable? Don’t hold your breath. Russia will side with China. Time for US to swallow the bitter pill and bring most of the supply chain home so that we do not depend on these assholes. It will mean sacrifices because prices will go up, it is a choice between being enslaved to dictatorial foreign government or being free.

Forget terrorism, China and Russia are the most existential threats to the free world today. Phuck China!!

^ opportunity is being sensed across the world, be it developing economies like Vietnam, Mexico & India to developed countries like Japan incentivising transition of industry back to the homeland.
