  1. 1. Why DC started losing so many games after being brilliant early on?

    • complacency?
    • Overconfidence?
    • shoddy bowling performance?

Nothing happened to DC. It is actually lucky to be on 14 points - K11 (threw its game), RR (could not close its game) & CSK (dropped 4-5, if not more, catches). In b/w Dhawan hit a purple patch (but DC still lost a game when Dhawan hit a 100)

Winning games does not always mean they were brilliant .... Fans overrated it .... It has too much Ind deadweight (for T20s) in Shaw (inconsistency + fielding), Rahane, Iyer, and so on .... At this point, they are blocking a spot in the top 4. It needs to pull up its socks!

You can say the same for most reams. Most of the teams have been saved by overseas players barrif  Punjab where Rahul and Aggarwal batted well but even Rahul was still blamed for taking it till till the end and costing Punjab few games.

Delhi had a great team until Shaw failed on top and how their bowlers did not click in the last few games.

Come to think of it, Indian players inmost teams are ar same level. Its not like they are doing exceptionally well this year compared to Iyer and co.  Delhi to me still lols extremely stronf, matter of getting good start is your answer.

When platform is set on top, your middle order also looks better. Shaw did that for fiest few games and whem he did not he got dropped

So to your answer, yes Delhi has been lucky a bit just like any other team but they have had well rounded team to earn that luck. They will fail here and there because  Indian players aren’t consistent.
