We have a shot at drawing this if he plays the same number of dots as in the first innings, should be a piece of cake as they've already worn down tge Aussies in the first innings.

Hardly matters 120 overs is a huge number for top 5 to bat.

I do hope people who were cribbing about slow batting of Pujara realize that look at time left despite how he batted. T20 has changed how we watch test cricket.

By way for those who don't remember Gambhir once batted 70+ over scoring 70 odd runs and saved test match.

That was real patta, even pace and bounce.

It is about showing intent for long time. Most test pitches allow you to make a century or bat long. India were following-on in that game on day 4 and we had already lost our middle order with Tendulkar and co back in the pavillion. That knock with Yuvraj’s fifty were very valuable.

If not for that knock, we would have still not won a series in NZ for a long time.

Pujara is capable of doing that. But I hope he plays positive a bit too and doesn’t put pessure on himself and others

Yes now in this inning pujju ll try to show agression and get out on nothing ball.

Expect this to full happen. Has never really played an long defensive innings when needed.

though it was monumental it was in NZ where its pretty flat on day 5 and they had not so high quality bowlers.
