Dumped Pant from LOIs for makeshift keeper Rahul and tried to finish off his test career also, with specialist keeper theory. Kept Gill on the bench for years. Dropped KL Rahul after a fantastic test series against the Aussies where he himself went AWOL with the excuse that Rahul failed to convert his scores to centuries. The list of his blatant blunders is very long.

Kohli constantly talks to Ashwin about plotting the dismissal. I think Kohli is the one who is repeatedly getting out to off spinners. Lyon, Moeen now this guy.  Lunging forward for every ball against an offie is a recipe for disaster. He must develop a backfoot game against spinners. Entire team has to watch Sehwag's batting against off spinners.

he has been sinking by the day as a batsman  for some time now... his away average  has dipped by almost 4  with in the last   2.5 years...He posses the worst away average record  among the FAB4. This despite  being of 32+  age( just passed his peak years).

If he does not find ways to redeem himself, his credentials as a  great batsman is going to get hurt so badly. Hope he realize that and act accordingly. Quitting captaincy in LOIs for a start would be the ideal thing. Even the legendary Sachin quit captaincy when he realized that it was too  much for him to handle  along with the additional pressure he already had to cope with.      But highly doubt this arrogant dumb ass posses even  the minimum sense to realize this,,,,,

He has no shame in taking credit when his victims do well inspite of him( infact in his absence) like he did with Pant . He had the audacity to say they had been given him chances .

Kohli's redemption will be this seri s. I can feel it but....as a captain he is average. Anyone can manage this quality Indian team better than him. 

 

I do not like hahaaane as a batsman but he is a damn good captain. 

 

I would like to see Kohli continue qs a pure batsman but will his ego let him?

As a bowlers captain he has a great record, maybe even the greatest record in India test history. But yet it has to be acknowledged that he hasn’t contributed to the development of a single test batsmen.
