He was cannon fodder in the SMA trophy (at least in highlights I watched).  He'll get some extra eyes on the tellys just for the compelling drama value he provides.

When on song ,he was an amazing bowler.

 I think all other entertainment values other than cricketing skills are already provided by owners and stars affiliated with the franchisee.
