India's T20 squad, too many ball eating batsmen - Rahul, Dhawan, Kohli, Shreyas....what next Pujara, Padikkal, Rahane?!

Rahul is himself responsible to get into this list.  That IPl has changed him for good.

These guys get so enamoured with these 50 plus scores & averages, they relish opportunities of filling their boots whenever possible. Rahul has learnt that art from famed top 3 of Indian line-up.

I hope he introspects & goes back to being a "T20" batsman in this IPL. Strike rates do matter

One more thing, if everyone here wants Kohli, Rohit to play like Pandya then please don't come in crying when they average 22 instead of 50 and 35 respectively.

There's a tradeoff between strike rate and average and this applies to each and every player. The only player who violated this was Sir Viv Richards.

On topic, i still think that Kohli and Sharma should play more freely, Sharma should utilise the powerplay better and Kohli should improve his hitting against spinners.

Kohli and Sharma should start putting more responsibility on the shoulders of the youngsters, that will allow them to bat freely. Don't know why but it looks like the captain and vice captain do not trust the youngsters fully as they always resort to building a foundations instead of going full gung ho.

Kohli knows this and is trying to change to an aggressive approach but Archer and Wood are too hot to handle and wrecking that plan. We need someone to play a special, impactful innings like Kishan did in the 2nd game to give some momentum to the innings. Rohit and Rahul are very much capable. If at-least one clicks, it would be a big help.

There is no point in abusing Indian Team when it loses. Lets face it . This Eng Team is far superior to Indian Team and the major gap difference now  is  due to Archer & Wood  . No surprise  if series ends in 4-1 in their favour if both play in next 2 games.   This Indian team lacks  in Bowling both pace & Spin compared to them . Batting in any case a notch below ENG.

Until India finds a way to counter wood and get runs , India will struggle. Going after Archer in opening spell is more difficult due to sharp lift and pace he generates in first 2 overs .

Pujara is the guy. He can take the shine off the ball and see off the first 10 overs.
