I don't agree with the idea that he is a pathetic player because you gotta be talented enough to hit a hundred long back in IPL 2009 when he was just 20 year old. He surely had the quality to do well across all formats especially ODIs and Tests but come to 2021, you would think he has achieved nothing in his career and one would even argue that Rayudu has achieved more in his career than Manish Pandey has. Century back then doesn't equal talent, history since then has shown it was a flash in the pan. In reality is a very limited player with zero upside.

Paul Valthaty had an IPL century as well.Those don't mean much if there isn't consistency

Manish Pandey took a few catches. At least one of them looked like a blinder. A good utility player that every IPL side can do with.

Pandeyji may not be fit for international cricket but he will remain a player in demand in IPL. Cricspin 1

Consistency is not the issue with Pandeyji. It's the lack of hitting power and scoring some soft runs
