Who is Arzan nagwaswalla ??

Left arm seamer from Gujarat. Has decent bowling stats. Picked as Nattu's replacement for the left arm option. Other left arm options - Unadkat,  Anitket Chaudhary, Tanvir ul Haq.

Not picking Kartik Tyagi is a poor call.

Kartik Tyagi should have been there.  Also rest assured that Hardik will now be only used as LOI specialist.  Sundar Jaddu are more than capable batting all rounders & Shardul is there as bowling All rounder.  Axar Patel is also there so good job.

Batting reserves look light..  Hopefully KL gets to full fitness & team slots him in middle order..  In case Pujara goes missing & he will I think.  Rahane will score at least one ton in the series.

Where is GOAT SDP :giggle:

Small dick pandu din't get picked hehe.

That's what happens when you whinge and whine about bowling. He is a good short format player and probably a good test player too but his attitude is an issue. He needs to prove himself in tests before getting a call up.

Sundar is clutch player in tests. He has played more clutch knocks in just 4 tests than Pandya has played in 11 tests. Sundar aged 21 has shown better performance and has more potential in long term than Hardik Pandya who is already 27 and restricted to just one skill. It is sensible that young test player who has outperformed senior all rounder is rewarded in yet another test series. It is good to see the preference for seniors over much talented youngsters is no more plaguing Indian test cricket. After all tests is more demanding and the ones who adapt to it best have to be picked. LOI perfoemances should not merit a selection in tests.

Why wud u take axar to england when jaddu is fit ? So many spinners in england ??

If bhuvi isnt fit select deepak chahar ? Tell me chahar is unfit or else its a big mistake.

Mayank?? Have selectors seen his technique in last one yr....its all over.

No shankar ?? Always take a seam bowling all rounder in england specially if he is dibbly dobbly and is a sound batsman.

Should have been 24 player squad so that they can play proper 11 a side 3 day matches among themselves for practice.

18 member squad plus Rahul and Saha..and 4 reserve players. If they want they can still play the intra squad matches.

Weak openers followed by blocker Pujara, out of form Kohli and one-century-per-series-maker Rahane.

All gloomy for tests. But this how we felt before the Aus series as well. What do I know?

Aus conditions have pace n bounce which our batsman enjoy. Its swing, two pace , spungy wkts wkts which our batsman dnt enjoy.....which is why they didnt do well in NZ

Who are your preferable openers that you would parachute drop into the side for a prestigious WTC final?

There was no need for Axar, I agree
