I think I am starting to believe this Covid 19 conspiracy theory

There is no such thing as covid 19, which is just like a mere cold and was a made-up infection that can kill no one and is just designed to bring fear to people, make hospitals rich and shut down economies so that big computer and big pharma could work together to make these things called vaccines that will help them control the world by causing depopulation via a highly lethal infection called covid 19.

I dont know what you typed in Kannada but this OP seems like the new coffee avatar. He was arguing about swiss cheese model and all the "science" surrounding corona but here he starts the exact opposite. Seems like something coffee mama would do or maybe his shishya. It falls in line with divide and conquer. Two purposes solved. One is make the people who question the theory as tin foil hat wearers. Second is lead the "resistance" and allow those who deviate from the theory into a controlled environment where real questions are unanswered and the leader of this resistance gets more and more crazier a la Alex Jones that people who joined his movement will go increasingly disillusioned.

Edit: Just to let you know that while I didn't believe the virus was real in the first place, I now believe the vaccines may have released the virus for real this time. For example, there was less damage in the first wave than right now after the vaccine was released.

I am definitely starting to call out the fear mongering and fear porn that has been played up in media. This has damaged lives and psyche of so many people who may mentally never overcome it. COVID 19 is not the most dangerous disease in the world. Certainly not in India. But it’s contagious and can cause problems for 1% of those infected. It is definitely more severe than normal flu for some. For vast majority, they don’t even know if they have it.  If you are vulnerable, vaccine is your best chance for now. But don’t be shaking in your boots. Take the precautions but live life. Even if you get infected, most likely you will be one in 99%.

Even if mortality is 1%, it means 1 cr out of 100 cr will die. At least 5% need hospitalization, means 5 cr which is impossible even if 50 lacs hospitalization which will increase mortality rates. Mortality rate will increase with lack of treatment. Right now, mortality rate is at least 10 times more than what is shown in the official figures.

But why do you use them term « believe ». Either you know or you don’t. In this case you don’t. Plus it’s classic error of correlation and causation. Viruses do mutate and mutations do spread faster. How do you then explain what’s happening in UK ?

I am not sure you got my point. We still have to do vaccination and build hospital capacity. Where is the denial ? 

 

On mortality, let me get this straight. So you are saying we have 2 million deaths in one year in India. And we have managed to bury / burn 1.8 million bodies in last one year. All I can say is that it’s laughable.

I am talking about current wave. Not last year. Last year, uttarakhand was hardly troubled but this time. It's been everywhere. Don't think any family not having covid cases. People are dying without even being tested. Long lines of ambulances. My area was one of the safest last year. People from NCR came here for safety but this time it's different. Hospitals are already full. We din't even have a covid dedicated hospital last time here. Now we have two. Situation is that bad. Every gali, colony is affected.  This time here actual infected numbers are thrice because of people who are not getting tested and died who are not even counted.
