How feasible is a six bowler strategy for the third test?

With Rahane and Pujara struggling to get into even double digits, Can Ash be picked ahead of one of them? Jadeja has shown that he’s currently miles ahead of both in terms of batting capability and can move a spot up in the batting order, and Ash is a capable enough no 7.

Mayank might come in first.  As a seniority preference & as he was supposed to be in original XI.

Pujara has definately played his final test.  Hopefully he fails in 2nd inns as well.  No lucky runs please.

4 fast bowlers in my opinion was over kill not sure what you want to do with 4 fast bowlers and 2 spinners. I would play Ashwin and Hamuna for Rahane (if he again fails in 2nd innings).

Lol with 6 bowler, one will be underbowled and one wont ball at all. Even with 5 bowlers,  Captain forgot about shami yesterday and jadeja barely bowled. 6 bowlers wont get time to bowl at all, unless you give bowlers 2-3 overs spell, which is stupid in test cricket

Lol as said earlier. 6 bowlers will confuse the dickhead captain. Too many options pose too many problems. He won't even know who to choose ro when to choose said player.

All don't have to bowl equally, but when it starts to turn when you didnt expect it earlier, its nice to have an option

Won't lose in batting much too

Ofcourse better is to play better batsmen

Nope. Pujara and Rahane are playing badly, but it would be horrible if they are replaced with Ashwin. They should be replaced by a batsman like Sky or Agarwal.

Ashwin should replace a bowler, either Ishant or Shardul.
