Simply unplayable  bowler especially in those bouncy SA conditions. SA always had one intimidating bowler in their lineup since 90s. First it was Donald and then Steyn , don't think we will see another SA bowler of the same status in the  near future.

What a wonderful bowler. At the time when flattest of flat pitches were mostly the norm in late 2000s and early 2010s, he was in a league on his own. One of greatest ever that have ever been.

Now before he gets snapped up by other boards, can we make him the bowling consultant at NCA to work with our young pacers. He has had great things  to say about Dravid, and the two will work nicely.

Rabada is very good, he needs good support. Now that the Kolpak arrangements are over after Brexit, a lot of ex-Kolpak players may go back to South Africa (Kyle Abott, Duanne Olivier etc.). Biggest challenge right now is an increasing quota-based system.

For the sake of World Cricket, let's hope the South African pace bowling legacy continues.

Rabada will definitely give them a run for their money.

ATG.................A sight to watch in while running in and that outswing

My fav steyn delivery

Steyn's delivery to Vaughan was similar too. Peach of an outswinger at pace pitching on middle-leg and hit hitting top of off.

Steyn was ATG in test cricket but was very ordinary in other formats. To be frank he was overrated in shorter formats.I would Mcgrath over him in any format.

everyone knew that he was a special test bowler and SA TM managed him in that way.. at one point he played his 45th odi after his 45th test match.
