Can’t bowl due to injury issues or at best 3-4 overs on a good day, not expected to finish games or play innings to stabilize as that is not his job  so basically not do things expected from a proper batsman.

 

Teams send him with 10-15 balls to spare max unless crisis and regardless you  can only swing the ball and get some kind of  a 6 per innings stat

What was the breakdown of bowlers for Pandya's hitting vs RR?

 

I am sure it's not many vs Jofra Archer and he won't get to smash bowlers like Aaron and Tyagi in international cricket.

Not the way Rahane is playing now. There are plenty of other choices if rahane does not pick up his game. For the time being rahane has no spot in Indian team.

that option was lost the moment 5 fielders were reduced to 4 in the boring period after PP

The greatness of SDP is that he treats everyone fairly - Rabada or Rajpoot, they all get the same treatment

The biggest difference is that in MI set up, he has a clearly defined role. You can see him enjoying his cricket and that reflects on the performance s.

 

In the Indian LOI set up, with our captain doofus and coach bombastic, doubt if any of our younger players have clarity except for those who are Kohli's chamchas.

He is comfortable in MI - he isnt bowling they aint forcing him whereas KKR n RR has forced Russell n stokes. 

He plays such a role that will be hit n miss but MI gives him that space which even they did with pollard who himself has been mighty inconsistent 

 

but tbh he has been handled well by Indian team, May be coz kohli doesnt have any option to him.  But other youngsters need same kind of backing but they dnt get coz they have options behind and kohli starts like everyone else after 2 games who isnt playing

neways not many can hit archer, thats what smart cricket is picking bowlers. He has smashed Rabada n nortje in IPL , so its not that he cant ...you just have to be smart and thats what  dhoni use to do
