Dravid was neither meek nor submissive.  You are just making a statement or can you explain it.

On topic,

Rahane and Pujara are basically both not doing well right now but Pujara looks worse in his struggle. Rahane plays confident good looking strokes but gets out without making a meaningful contribution. Pujara is struggling for survival or gives that impression.

The poster is likely a school kid who does not have any clue who Dravid is and what he has achieved in away series in testing conditions against actual world class bowling line-ups

That is why Pujara needs to stay and Rahane needs to go.Every batsmen goes thru rut at some point or multiple points in their careers. What they do after they come out of the rut is important.

Rahane all thru his career has been one odd innings man per series .He rarely has been able to put togther a proper series. There is reason why Rahane's avg is so low.

Firstly, we cannot give him too much time to prove his coaching credentials.. already lost a golden opportunity of winning test series in South Africa.. so far he doesn't seem to have any role in team 11 or any strategies.. when Greg Chappel got the freedom after Ganguly quit/ or removed from captaincy, he forged a superb partnership with Dravid.. they went on to build a superb middle order trio of Yuvi, Dhoni and Raina instrumental in our biggest achievement in one day cricket till then - ability to win while chasing.. need to see if Dravid can create another such strong middle order.. he has already faltered and fallen flat on his face here by letting KLR open.

he has played with some/most of them in domestics or international matches. good ol nepotism strikes again.

Nepotism lol, don't think so but I think they just don't know how to phase out cricketers. Bhuvi, how is he still getting games after his horror performance in WC

nepotism can take many forms. for instance, if one has a preference for someone because of having worked/played with them, that is a weak version of the same.

This guy is an embarrassment . Everything has gone backwards in his tenure?

where is the accountability? Has been a keep getting selected over deserving youngsters. Pathetic fielding. Muddled selections.

You misunderstand the man

Deeper plan at play, and he ain't alone
